From data to decisions: activating the FACILITATE community
The FACILITATE Community Launch at TIS will introduce the FACILITATE project and its ambition to build a collaborative European community focused on tourism data, digitalisation, and governance.
The session will present the project’s objectives and vision for the FACILITATE Community as a long-term platform for knowledge exchange, cooperation, and capacity building among destinations, businesses, networks, policymakers, and other tourism stakeholders.
A panel discussion featuring representatives from local and regional authorities, European institutions, SME networks, and tourism organisations will explore the need for greater cohesion across the tourism ecosystem and discuss stakeholders’ expectations for the FACILITATE Community.
The session will conclude with the official launch of the Community, outlining the next steps, engagement opportunities, and roadmap for future activities. Participants will be invited to actively contribute to shaping a stronger, more connected, and more resilient European tourism ecosystem.
